LACANAU GOLF

There are 3 golf courses in Lacanau and all are very close to the Villa Creole.
· Golf de Ardilouse: It is THE Lacanau golf course. 18 holes. By 72. Tremendous outlooks in the hilly woods.
· Golf de la Méjane: 9 holes. By 36. It is more technical, but it is for me the most beautiful because of its gorgeous setting.
· Golf ecole du Baganais: 9 holes. By 27. Remarkable small golfcourse. Lessons and trainings for all.

TENNIS, SQUASH

Very close to the villa, you have a tennis complex which is unique in Aquitaine.
25 tennis courts among which 4 indoor courts!

And if you want to learn about the sports of the Basque country, you have a Trinquet and a Fronton which complete the setting.

BICYCLE

You are in the bicycle's paradise!..
Lacanau is equipped with a network of more than 100 km of very well maintained bicycle paths which connect through the forest all the interesting sites.
By your self or with your family, Have some good rides!..

HORSE RIDING

The Villa Creole is located within 500 m from the equestrian centre Pierre Durand whose infrastructure is remarkable. The Horse's Village proposes rides through forest or on the beach.
There are numerous international competitions during summer.

SURFING AND BODYBOARD

No need to present Lacanau as famous surfing and bodyboard spot.

WATER-SKIING

A spécial area is reserved for this sport on the lake of Lacanau.
North of the lake of Lacanau, you have an artificial stretch of water specially made by water-ski and wake board professionals.
International competitions in summer.
(Please , Note that jet ski is forbidden on the lake of Lacanau.)

SAILING AND WINDSURFING

Lake of Lacanau is big and very beautiful. Good sessions for every one.
Confirmed windsurfers can express themselves in the waves at the ocean.

FISHING

The lake of Lacanau presents a set of small bays ( " the conches " ) where one can fish for the pikeperch, for the pike and for the perch.
You will find roaches of good size and ablettes. Eel scan be also of good size.

In the ocean, the technique of surfcasting will be the most effective to get bars or breams.

ULM

There is a ULM's new airport some kilometres away from Lacanau. Good opportunity to try a flight and to see at the same time the ocean, the lakes and Arcachon's inlet.
